Our story begins in the winter of 1389 (2011).

After crossing the mountainous roads of Iran, we arrived in Armenia—where the founders of Zarhia made their first trade outside Iran, producing fresh and high-quality dates. Step by step, we moved forward. We learned how to trade with the world. We stumbled, and then we rose again.

Now that we knew exactly what we wanted, we decided to build it—and that decision gave birth to Zarhia. In the early days of planting the seed of Zarhia, we carefully studied cultivation techniques to achieve the highest crop quality and to create a stable, continuous supply chain. We knew that to grow a strong and lasting tree, we had to start from the roots. That’s why we went back to the villages and lived among farmers for nearly two years, learning alongside them how to illuminate the path ahead for Zarhia.

Then came the time to bring our products to market. We bid farewell to the farmers and began our journey. We crossed seas and oceans, delivering Zarhia products to Russia, China, India, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, Malaysia, and Taiwan. Taking Zarhia’s products beyond borders and waters opened new horizons for us.

To accelerate the shift from traditional to modern agriculture, in 1397 (2019) we began studying conditions in the Dasht-e Aftab Susan plains, monitoring pollination with the help of advanced equipment.

The result of applying science and technology was a doubling of the harvest compared to the previous year—strengthening the soil and improving the farmers’ livelihoods. We are determined to continue on this path. Demand healthy produce, and we will keep improving our quality.
